Strip 1 contains the same volume of decreasing color of blue dye solution. Strip 2 contains the same concentration of blue dye solution with decreasing volume. Place strip 1 above strip 2 and view them against a white background at an angle which you can look through the sides of both strips. Slide them relative to each other and compare the intensity of blue in the wells. Next, place both strips next to each other and view them at an angle that allows you to look through the tops of the wells to the bottom. Compare intensities. Lastly, look through the side of strip 1 and the top of strip 2 and compare intensity.
